Women Build with Sea Island Habitat for Humanity

Celebrating 25 Years of Empowerment

Published April 15, 2024

This past Friday, women from our Charleston team office participated in the 2024 Sea Island Habitat for Humanity Women Build, marking its 25th anniversary. A cornerstone of community service in the Sea Island area, this event brings together women from diverse backgrounds to construct homes for deserving families. As we joined forces with fellow volunteers, there was a community sense of purpose and excitement in contributing to building a home that will serve as a beacon of hope for its future occupants.

Thank you to the incredible women of New Leaf Builders who participated in this event: Amanda Brodbeck, Jessica Sanderson, Morgan Allen, Emily Hall, Molly Baslow, Heather Forbes. This year’s Women Build was a testament to the resilience and dedication of the Sea Island community, showcasing the enduring spirit of unity and compassion. Reflecting on our experience, New Leaf is filled with gratitude and inspiration, and we are eager to continue contributing to initiatives like the Women Build!
