THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED & BUILT TO RESPECT THE LAND.

Land has a memory. Marsh grass bends the same way it did fifty years ago. Live oaks hold their ground through every season. The tide comes in, goes out, comes back again. You don't simply build on land like this, you build with it

That's where New Leaf starts. Not with a blank page, but with home designs shaped over years of perfecting a series of home plans, ready to meet your ground on its own terms.

We bring the plan. You bring the place - and the picture of how you want to live in it. Tell us what you're picturing, and we can tailor any of our 20+ Leaf and Land series to suit your exact needs, to blend your vision and personality, and craft your new home. Just like land has a memory, so does the house you live in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Building on your own land comes with unique questions, and we’re here to make the process effortless. Find answers to common questions here, or reach for a consultation anytime to start the conversation.

No! You do not have to own land before meeting with us. In fact, many of our clients begin the process while they're still searching for the right home.

A current survey is one of the most important tools in the home-building process because it shows your property boundaries, easements, setbacks, and other details that affect where your home can be built. If you don't have a survey, we'll help you with this step and explain which survey type is needed and when to complete it.

Every property is unique, so site development costs can vary significantly. Factors such as tree clearing, grading, utilities, driveway length, soil conditions, septic or sewer requirements, and foundation needs must be factored into the final cost.  Our goal is to be with you every step of the way to identify these costs as early as possible.

Together, let's create a home designed to elevate and respect your unique piece of the Lowcountry.
