From July 17-19, we're throwing a three-day First Key Event- Grand Opening Celebration to open our doors in Leland, NC, and everyone's invited!
Come tour a brand-new model home and our move-in ready homes. Bring the family, bring a friend, come back all three days if you want — each one has its own vibe.
Friday, July 17 | 12-4pm
Kick things off with a welcome spritz in hand while you tour our Berkeley model. Meet the New Leaf Builders team, grab a light bite to eat, and customize your very own leather key tag with your initials by local leather merchant Hide and Harbor Co. While supplies last!
Saturday, July 18 | 10am-5pm
Model and move-in-ready homes are ready to tour! Curate your very own complimentary bouquet of flowers from local floral truck, The Bearded Iris, while supplies last, then watch local artist Sarah Jane Tart create live art inside the model. The custom art piece will then be a masterpiece that will live in our East Lake model home.
Sunday, July 19 | 11am-4pm
Keeping it easy with a low-key Sunday: mimosas, local pastries, and a relaxed morning tour. We'll have our Berkeley model open — one of the most popular floor plans in the area — styled by regional interior design team Sapling Home.

New Leaf Builders and niche., Wilmington's number one decor, gifts and furniture store, have partnered to turn one of our Calabasas homes into a fully immersive, shop-the-look experience. It's our first time offering the Calabasas plan in the Wilmington market — 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1,458 square feet — and instead of standard model staging, several rooms are furnished with pieces from niche. It's a real, livable home doubling as a showroom: walk through, see how the pieces work in an actual space.
The niche Experience Home opens for touring on July 17th and stays open only as long as this specific home remains on the market — likely just through the summer. Once it sells, the experience goes with it, so Grand Opening weekend is the best time to see it in person.
