Kiawah River Groundbreaking

A Sea Island Village

Published March 08, 2019

We’re incredibly excited to finally announce our involvement as a new home builder at Kiawah River. On February 20th we had our official groundbreaking with our team and Kiawah River, which marks the start of our new 16 Villa project on Johns Island. We wore our finest suits for the occasion.

Kiawah River is a new waterfront community located 15 miles from historic Charleston, South Carolina. This stunning Lowcountry community encompasses 2,000 acres of marshland, creeks and ponds, oak and pine forests, and riverfront property on Johns Island.

Featuring amenities celebrating the sea islands life, the master plan includes a community farm, a swim club, events hall, retail village, deep water dock, and 21 miles of nature trails. There will also be a riverfront lodge with cottages for resident guests to enjoy. A renowned group of coastal architects was selected to collaborate together to create a sustainable new take on Lowcountry coastal homes and amenities.

Aside from its proximity to Charleston, Kiawah River is surrounded by an extensive list of attractions, including, restaurants, specialty shops, marinas, equestrian facilities, and parks. The community is conveniently located just across from the renowned Kiawah Island, where residents enjoy championship golf and public beaches.
