This week a new sign popped up along Maybank Highway, not too far from the corner of Main Road, announcing a new project coming soon. Johns Island has been going through a growth spurt the last few years, but not so much that locals won’t stop and turn their heads when they see something like this show up.
Hayes Park is a project we’ve been keeping under wraps for some time now, and we’re still in very early development stages, but beginning to pick up pace.
Much time has been invested to craft a site plan and architectural offerings that evoke a development that is environmentally conscious. Hayes Park will feature roughly 5 acres of commercial space that will focus on retail, office, restaurants and service oriented businesses. The balance of the plot features a residential mix of roughly 55 units – 36 single family attached dwellings and 19 duplexes and townhomes.
To help envision the dream of this unique project, we developed a series of ultra-realistic renderings to portray the life and culture that we envision for the community.
Hayes Park will feature a dozen buildings and 15 businesses in a town center that is nestled under a preserved tree canopy connected by a series of boardwalks and pathways. Its sustainable design and environmentally friendly focal points like butterfly gardens, rainwater harvesting, solar panels, and bio retention basins, will create a development that evokes the feeling that it’s always been there.
Hayes Park is still in early development, but to stay up-to-date on the project by signing up on our email list below, or visit our community page at hayesparksc.com
